Lake Effect is an R & B band based out of NW Indiana. Their brass-driven sound goes over well with a wide cross section of music fans. The group's diverse repertoire is culled from the songbooks of such artists as Robert Cray, The Blues Brothers, BB King, Eric Clapton, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Joe Louis Walker, Van Morrison, Ray Charles. Just to name a few.

Bill started playing in High School with The Movin' Violations and has been playing ever since. He has been performing in the Chicago area for over 30 years. He started putting Lake Effect together with Dean in 1998.
Dean's music career spans 4 decades. Dino started playing trumpet then guitar and switched to Bass in 1994. Dean has been an active part of the local mucic scene performing with several bands.
Terry has been playing and singing various types of music for 4 decades. He's been performing with various bands throughout the Chicago area for more then 27 years. Out of all the types of music he's played, the Blues is his favorite.
Jess started squeaking on the alto saxophone in the 5th grade and now also plays tenor sax. Besides playing with Lake Effect she performs with several other local bands. She was also voted favorite soloist by the Midwest Beat Magazine 2007 readers poll.
